This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
I am about finding jobs abroad around Asia/Australia in Photography/Digital Imaging. If you have any recommendation, please send me the details. Thank you so much, have a nice day.
You know, it's a real shame to see some of these comments, because honestly as soon as someone says 'you're being racist' it's like all listening shuts down.
Look I don't know what people said to you, but I do know that I've felt the same in similar situations before, so I want to share with you something I've recently come to understand.
I'm pretty sure nobody was calling you a 'terrible person' saying your action was racist for taking the shot you did, and I'm not either. And no I'm sure people weren't just jealous of your work, I'm sure it had nothing to do with the quality of the photo itself. There's no reason to be all hurt about it like you were personally attacked, it's upsetting to find out you may have offended someone and acted in ignorance yes, but reacting with denial and resistance is not the answer. By calling you on it they're trying to help you understand, when we certainly don't deserve their time, especially when our reactions tend to be denial like this. They've got every right to be angry about it and I'm sure some of them were, but that doesn't mean you should ignore it.
It's a hard thing to hear about yourself but we have been RAISED with total misunderstanding and yes, RACISM and IGNORANCE, ingrained in our brains. There is no shame in having those initial thoughts or not understanding right away, that is the sad reality of growing up in our society, there IS SHAME in ignoring when it's pointed out to you and ignoring the opportunity to learn and understand why. You don't understand why they're saying this? Why don't you research instead of just ignoring these things? Maybe reading some will help you understand: [link]
Tell me now why would anyone be okay with that situation? :/
I'm learning here too, we've got to, or things will just stay the same. I hope you'll give what I've said here a chance, because really, I'm sure it was stated under your work somewhere as well, as I'm sure it's been stated hundreds of thousands of times by people of color all over the place. If you're interested in trying to understand more, try reading this post as well, it made great sense of everything for me: [link]
